Sencha
The leaves of this Japanese green tea are steamed in the traditional Japanese technique, which concentrates the vibrant green color of the leaves. This widely consumed Japanese green tea is known for it's health benefits, derived from antioxidants, catechins, and vitamin C, as well as it's ease of drinking. Sencha has a golden brew with a light vegetal flavor and slightly sweet aftertaste.
For the perfect cup, brew at 170 degrees for 1 minute (approx. 1 tsp. per 8-10 ounces of water)
