Old Tree Yunnan
The leaves of this tea are picked from centuries old, wild, Camellia Taliensis trees in the Lin Cang area of Yunnan, China. Typically used for producing Puer (aged tea), the early spring leaves are reserved to make this delicious, whole leaf tea.
Old Tree Yunnan yields a clear amber brew with the aroma of wild flowers. The tea has a slightly sweet flavor reminiscent of stone fruit, toasted nuts, and caramel. No chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides were used.
For the perfect cup, brew at 212 degrees (boiling) for 3 1/2 minutes (approx. 1 tsp. per 8-10 ounces of water)
